Thaeter 1958 Species Account. July 16 (cont) Pipistrellus hesperus p.2. Earlier this were two badly shot up to attempt to skin, Carleis, I had unsuccessfully shot at a few bats just out side the building as they started flying in the early dusk. Probably most of these were also of this species. July 17. All Beck picked three of this species while he was examining some of the surrounding mine shafts this morning (602-4). These were frozen and prep. later.
