After driving around on dirt roads near the locality for several hours, we stopped at this locality and put out several gopher nets. After waiting about 2 ½ hrs. we finally took a ♂ gopher of this type. When skinned later she proved to have the relatively short vagina mentioned before. This area was an open, dry meadow surrounded by various canyons.
