Dec. 23 San Pablo Creek (Saltmarsh), Contra Costa Co., Calif.,
and [illegible] (?) Microtus. I set out the remainder of
my traps, about 100 more. Five were taken in the last 100.
Dec. 24 San Pablo Creek
This morning I checked my traps and had
32 microtus,
3 forest vagran balbales and numerous
Reithros. Since this furnished me with a sufficiently
large sample I picked up my traps getting 5 more
microtus.
