What is the best way to start a conversation?
I'd like to say something nice but I don't want him/her to feel awkward... maybe compliment their style? Or ask them about a trip they took? Maybe check how they are, without being too direct.
But it's important you're ready for any reply. If they don't make a good one, you can still be yourself. How about just starting with 'Hi' and smiling?
It's also nice to share something personal like hobbies or recent events. Even if it seems small (like coffee), sometimes that helps break the ice.
And remember: conversation is two-way. Just keep things light and natural.
Sincerely,
[illegible]
To test all this process out in place lately... it went well.
To borrow, I'd think about how to continue what everyone says without getting too personal, why because all that seems based on a piece you had and not there are good examples here - like David Bowie, which is scary but beautiful. Listening more and less often helps.
