Went for a long hunt North of town along the telegraph line road, (Yellow Telegraph) it is dry poplar country with a few clearings and no life at all. Altogether I got two red squirrels, a chipmunk, a caster snake, Juneo, and Redstart. Saw Barn, Cave, V.G. and Tree Swallows over the tour. Also saw Lance Swifts (ro) near a tie dead cottonwood. Sleamed all afternoon I put up about four specimens while Mr. Smith put up sixteen! The river is still rising. Got a smudge to drive the Mosquitos out of th cabin tonight & cheerful ones as to what is coming! 103. Frog. June 3, 1921, Hazelton, B.C. alt: 959. 104. ?
