" " " " " 380 ♀ " " " " " " 381 ♂ Anthus rubescens " " " 382 ♂ ad. Planarieno migratoriei " " " Weck. Sept. 14. Good weather continues, but is too warm to last on ahead. Went down to the river, saw Mallards, Teal and Murcycense but got no good shots. A flock of four Ripato lit on the beach where they sat evidently resting, secured two. Came back thru the fields, saw several Yellow Throats, two finchyn finches, several Song Sparrows, and one Sparuw- Hawk. Along the willows were many Myrthl Warbler, J Pulins, and Heblers; the latter being all females from what I could see. There was a few flocks of Junco's. Slate-colored and Black-headed both. Saw nothing else. This evening I went down to the river and saw some coyote and other trvels on the far but nothing else. There were many cars trotting around the chicken house but it was too dull to see them. Thurs. Sept. 15.— Very cloudy today. Novel walk to
