popemquus) are all over town nesting with their
usual abandon in all sorts of conspicuous and
odd sights (sites). One has nested directly over
my sister's driveway on Willamette Heights,

is an endless amount of open
country right next door the robin seems

yarnspters, early in the season as it is. North-
western Thrillers (Calyptes cafer saturnius) are here,

nest seen. Juncoes, probably Oregon and Shufeldt
are fairly abundant on the hills, all
being paired, and probably nesting. One pair
of Oregon Towhees were observed. Many Buety
Saps Sparrows (M.M. rufescens) (?) and Nuttal's
Sparrows also, are singing wherever they are brief.
