# 420 Oceanodroma furcata Picked up July 5, 1942 on the beach at San Francisco, opposite Golden Gate Park. Too far gone to sex. Measured wing (135.9 mm bent and 142.9 straightened out.) which proved it to be the southern race, O. f. plumbea.
