A herd of 45 to 50 adults with about 10 or more
young in a condensed patch of Kelp. I counted 15
adults with white heads. Near Big Sur there
were two patches of kelp one with 9 others and
another with 3. And still a third group of 9 in
somewhere dense kelp near shore (3-40% there with
white heads.)
