Restorer 1944 Black-footed Albatrosses 3. Nov. 13 "U.S.S Neshoba" Richmond to 30 mi W. Farallon Is. & Return - San Pablo Bay & Pacific Ocean. Salt Pools is tied in the center & the line is towed astern. An albatross in trying to get the salt pools gets his beak caught in the open part of the triangle and can be hauled aboard. Once on board (he says) that the abatoses are unable take off and become "sea sick". The latter must be the well-known ejection of stomach oil.
