Rostore 1942 Diadophis annulifis Head of Strawberry Canyon, Berkeley, Alameda Co., Calif. March 1, 1942 Saw Walt Dalquest catch two small Diadophis under small rocks (6" in dia @) on hillsides with many small rocks and sparse grass. This was quite unlike their habitat in Sonoma Co. and in New Jersey where I have found them in well wooded hillsides.
