Restone 1942 31. Cedar Camp & vicinity, Kings Canyon, Fresno Co., Calif. June 2 & 3, 1942 Pinyon & Red-bk. Nutthatches, Brown Creepers, Dippers, Robin, Hermit Thrush, Blue-headed & Warbling Vireos, Hermit, Audubon, Black-thro. Gray, Nashville, & Pileolated warbler's, Western Tanager, Bl.-th Grosbeaks, Linnet, Chipping Sparrows & Junco. Also saw Sceloporus gracilous & occidentalis. Chickadees, gray squirrels, chipmunks sp? Cirtulus beckleyi: Left Kings Canyon at 11: AM & landed at Hume Lake where we saw Mt Zmail, Cassin Finches, & Cowbird. Went on to General Grant park's where we stayed one night at Azalea Camp. In this park we added, Fox & Lincoln Sparrows, Green-t. Towheee, Winter wren, Red-bk Sapsucker, Tolmie Warbler, Callospermophilus, and Band vowlii also Botrychium silaifolinum all. June 4, 1942 Left about 6 AM & drove back to Berkeley via Sos Barios & Yustine, added White Pelican, Cinn. Teal, Mallard, Cooper Hawk's, Vq. Zmail, Barnowng owl, Calwoodpecker, Tree Swallows, Brown Towhee, Pleasant, Pintail, Stilt, Coot, Fulvous Tree Duck, and Yellow-billed magpie. Arrived in Berkeley about 3:30 PM.
