2420 Channing Way, Berkeley, Alameda Co., Calif.
January 21, 1942.
Y.N.S. Trip to Stockton, Jan. 18, 1942.
covered with Agolla which was colored
a bright purplish red. (Collected some.)
We saw the Biology Dept. of the
College and were taken to an embankment
just north of the campus where a Euneces
was taken several weeks previously
under a piece of concrete. The specimen
was given Tom Rodgers.
On the way back to Berkeley we
stopped at a sandstone mine just east of
the coast ranges (E of Clayton) where
we looked for bats without success; but
did see two Barn owls and Herr. found
a Reithrodonmys under a board. Returned
to Berkeley about 7 PM.
Notes kept on form given to me by
Jack Arnold.
