Rostory 1942 5. #. 2420 Channing Way, Berkeley, Alameda Co., Calif. January 21, 1942. Y.N.S. Trip to Stockton, Jan. 18, 1942. covered with Agolla which was colored a bright purplish red. (Collected some.) We saw the Biology Dept. of the College and were taken to an embankment just north of the campus where a Euneces was taken several weeks previously under a piece of concrete. The specimen was given Tom Rodgers. On the way back to Berkeley we stopped at a sandstone mine just east of the coast ranges (E of Clayton) where we looked for bats without success; but did see two Barn owls and Herr. found a Reithrodonmys under a board. Returned to Berkeley about 7 PM. Notes kept on form given to me by Jack Arnold.
