RusStore 1941 Journal. 2. July 17 20 mi. w. Linares Nuevo Leon to 20 mi. w. Antigo Marelby, S.P, Mexico. Jay, Bob White, Red-billed Pigeons, Varied Bunting, Road Runners, Mexican Gusted Flycatcher. Between Linares and the Boundary of the state of Tamaulipas were: Mourning Dove, Ground Dove, Mockingbird, Turkey Vulture, Road Runner, & an unidentified hawke. Between the boundary of the state of Tamaulipas & Victoria were: Gracara, Red-billed Pigeon, Mourning Dove, Mexican Eoshawks, Roadrunners, Cardinal, Oriole (probablly Alta Mira), Black Vulture, Boat-tailed Grackle, Turkey Vulture, Conle Kingbird, White-winged, Dove, & Mexican Crow. Between Victoria and the Rio Frio were: Yssore-Bill Ani, Boat-tail grackle, Road Runner, Turkey Vulture, Brown Jay, Ground Dove, Gracara, Sennetts Warbler, Derby Flycatcher, White-winged Dove, & Red-eyed Cowbird. Stopped at the Rio Frio and birded for a short time in the tall, tropical trees by the river - Birds found there were: Centurus sp? 2, Green Parakeet 2, Red-crowned Parrot 4, Brown Jay 4, Yssore-bill Ani 2, Squirrel Cuckoo 1, & Stealied Flycatcher (like a Stealied Giandi Flycatcher) 1. Drove from the Rio Frio to Antiquo Morelos and took a sideward to the west (Road to San Luis Potosi). Drove over two ridges of Mountains and down into a broad, flat Palm Bottom, crossed a river on a small ferry and
