Stopped in Iron for groceries, drove in to Darwin Falls on a fairly good gravel road, took the right fork where the water pipe goes away from the main gravel road and stopped just over the hill where the road is roped off. Walked up to Darwin Falls carrying 20 large and 57 small folding thermans, set in willows at the pool, and back down along the stream. Caught one Bufo boreas floating downstream. After dinner we liked back up along the stream looking for more frogs. There are both Bufo boreas and Bufo punctatus in this area, plus hybrids between them. We are particularly looking for hybrids for Julie Feder. The hybrids are supposedly big "punctatus" without white stripes, do have red spots, and a more
