Hopland Field Station, Mendocino Co., Calif.
Mar. 14
Paid $10.00 at Office for my 3 nights plus
Florence one night. Packed up and left
Bunkhouse at 12:15pm. Final mileage 37210.
Took the animals for Bob Lane to the State Health
Dept. Lab on the corner of Acton & University
in Berkeley on the evening of Mar. 14. On Mar. 15
I went there to get kidneys from the
B. boylii from the Rock Pile which while
Bob Lane and Dale? (from the Virus Lab)
were getting blood samples (heart puncture)
and ectoparasites, Dale used dry ice in a
beaker to anesthetize the mice. Bob Lane
expects to publish the results of his research
on diseases carried by rodents at Hopland
sometime in the next year or two.
