Nov. 26 San Bernardino Mts., San Bernardino Co, Calif.
in chaparral 11.6 mi E of Mentone Post Office (site II)
Set 94 traps 6.8 mi E of Mentone P.O. across
the road from Mill Creek Ranger Station (site III),
in a flat chaparral area between the
highway 38 and the creek. This area has
Artemesia, Yucca, etc. It was dark by this
time so we drove to Mill Creek Campground
and cooked dinner.
Nov. 27 Got up at 6:30am. Went out at 7:30am to check traps.
Site I 1 Peromyscus manic? 12.1 mi E of Mentono
1 Peromyscus eremicus?
This was in grass and yellow pine but got no Perognathus.
Site II 11.6 mi E of Mentono out of 60 traps
