Rain tapered off between 10 am and noon, Partly cloudy in the afternoon. Took the first nights catch into the lab and bled them. Nov.12 Foggy and cold but no rain this morning. Checked traps at Garbage Dump, Trap 71 P. truei juv. saved for tissues Lower Chaparral Trap 18 P. truei ♀ juv, molting to adult saved for tissues Laurel Canyon Trap 38 P.truei adult saved for tissues Chaparral E of Observatory Trap 44 P.truei adult saved for tissues Grassland Trap 83 Microtus calif. dead saved for Dave [illegible] Trap 143 Microtuscalif. dead saved for Dave [illegible] Caught a Mus musculus by hand near the Garbage Dump - it had been injured, possibly falling with an oak limb that was across the road. It died on the way back to Berkeley so I kept it refrigerated and gave it to Dick Sage.
