Calif. (Santa Lucia Range)
Aug.11 Pygmy Owl, but also had some harsher nasal
notes in call. Heard Great Horned Owl in the
night.
Aug.12 Got up at 6:10am. Had breakfast and packed most of
the gear. Checked traps around campsite (15 traps);
Hi Mtn Campground; 5 Peromyscus boylii.
Left there at 7:30am to check other traps.
