Nightly medusa for Dr. specialist -
per is not good - since I don't know
if this individual was displaying yet
or not - pump the develops after
the lance after .?? - aldr. Dorset
admit this doesn't seem likely
In afternoon - at least 5 chasing in area half
way between No. B.R. + Freshlake - maybe two
pairs + ( ? ) - but not sure. In one case, a
♂ displayed aerially, landed with both
wings up, ran a few steps, cocking his tail +
then lowered wings to side - just arching
them stiffly - tail clued pointer -
and warning (from side & side) -
walking behind bird #7. At B.R. - a 3rd indiv.
flown in set wing (I was too far to hear vocalization)
off toward displaying birds - who took flight.
Then 3 were the joined by 2 others
who appeared for viewers :
The low flight over Pt. funda + then
sudden rise in both except wings to
a height / 30 to 70' - quite diagnostic +
sound under were noticed by the recog
this pattern.
In evening - at least 3 + possibly 4 displays
(♂) in area north of ridge - some flight-
displays & chases noted - ♂? speed about
