For new nests - #41 - 90' west 1 plat - just
southeast 12.4 - north 4 eggs + 8 - 0 -
miss - group moved - 16% cover 1
Carex
#42 - 8' from 1,4 - 4 eggs + inc.9 -
in boot- through - surrounded by
Carex - given less than 5% cover.
Sedge was the only material
hanging in cup.
#3 - hatched during the last 4 days -
but the remainder were still being
incubated - They must have been
laid in late June - early July.
One ground aggressive act between 2
& noted near 4.2 - tail up posture - M
part / 1 & who chased the other off -
the returned to the one / he neck
(chase was a frantic flight - 5' above ground -
with chaser fevver, 3 curl note).
One fresh young - west 15.4 - nest site unknown?
Nest #15 - 1 egg with hole-poked in side - 4" from
Cup + 1 many yolky material in edge 1 eg -
looked like jaeger probably took can 1
nest.
Nest #29 - one cold egg - present on the 13th -
had an embryo 4-5 days old - but it had not
developed [illegible] -
