found by Stevens Joyce Southeast/
10.0 a Trapline #1 - with 4 eggs &
inc. ♀.
Considerable chasing activity seen
So. 1 Voth's area. - One pair /3
yearling ♂♂ noted - They were
being chased by territorial
♂♂?
19 June Nest located on northern end / Southern base of
beach ridge - (Nest P5#8) - with 3 eggs &
inc. ♀. Limnick cut grass + smoothed down
attached grass; ♀ did not do a dust display.
Activity was up. Chasing displays were
seen commonly along the beach ridge. One
group (4 - 1st yr ♂♂) were seen feeding; two
were freq. chased by settled ♂♂.
Two ♂♂ - ground - walking side by side
both would go into head down cgg. Posture-
with wings moved out slightly from the body
sequence: both feathers ruffled - tail
deprressed & fanned - one would turn
run at the other - who
would then side step
run & continue feeding. This would
sometimes feed (or displaced feed)
while in this posture. The courted event
