The 8 went into full posture as previous described - giving the odd case notes (above) - with wings partially inflated. The 8 & flushoff 8. 7 in pursuit - but display flight was different Wing were flapped above the horizontal - i.e. there was not the full wing beat as in territorial announcement. courtship flight territorial announcement The ground courtship posture was seen today on the northside of Whlbley Sloyl - Two as described except that once the 8 flared one wing to the side (approx.) the book - flew time - as he pursued 8 & who was running away from him. When she flew off, he turned & gave the display (without the wing flick) to another female nearby. Three flutes - 9, 8, 6 - were present a flock of about 15 + several display 88 seen along Elsin Lagoa - Nt Wlbley 11 June Two displaying 88 between Beed & Coolie Ridge - flock of 8, 4, + Several display Males along Elsin Lagoa. 12 June - No flock noticed along Elsin bluff - but groups of 3-4 Sea flying south - between the bluffs & the Devil Ridge - 15+ display heard.
