Several displaying 8's were seen, but their association with a & could not be determined. 14june - a flock 3 8's seen along the ridge, west of Footprint Lake. Only 1 8' was seen clear from ridge from fire gas line to N. area (out west to). One 8' chasing another was seen in the plot area near Skvoavik. 16june - no flocks / 8's noted today, but only 1 8' was seen along the western side of the beach ridge (white-nose sector) 20june - several displaying 8's were seen along the northwest at 1 The beach ridge, but no 8's were seen. 23june Skvoavik, Alaska While setting out the plot today, several flock (3-5) birds were seen. They appeared to be 8's and were chased frequently by territorial 8's. The birds seemed to be moving through the area, for they kept on moving.
