28 may Barrow, Alaska
Three individuals were seen along the
edge of Elson Lagoon near Whitschlog
slough. Four moles (1 included
hood (2mm brates) and 1 was a § (largest
wvan 4mm). Four birds were
reported by Moles in this same
general location during the afternoon.
29 may Barrow, Alaska
Two male with slightly inflated
throats were seen near Elson Lagoon in
the same vicinity as the two collected
yesterday. Both birds stayed to-
gather and moved from 1 acre to
another feeding. When they flew,
the neck region would sag down
from its rare like appearance - even
though it was not fully inflated! .
