Bairdii 5. 13 June Barrow, Alaska See pain in drum area - I chau noted involving 4 indir. - coming at entire drum area - apparently are a chau slope - two boundaw as not held + very strictly & several from adjacent areas join the chase - eventually all separate out tributary to their respective territories. Chau - My son is often spoke chau, ..., or versus - here + occa part 1 the draw out hill (especially when they set their wings - a cued - + glide). 17 June Pair on south side of head ridge near 4 barrels. Chased & giving long trill. - landed on south slope of ridge. - I raised tail (it used to 60°). walked to a nut as we left a grass + began displaying - tail high - wagged both up - as he rotated in cup - & standing about 1 foot away. [No femto log] Trill - which varied in loudness &/or pitch] - - I walked to him - but the flew - then a following given the trill - the event with aerial flight - will shut trill note (dee) given repeatedly. [In cup - or lifted on wing vertically. While deer in display posture, as I approached. - West quadrant - won tail at 60° - I win up - No drop (flew).
