17 June - Another molting $ - who was
Starting to lay eggs. Her incubation
patches were more developed & brood
if any had been seen previously. No
sep 1 old cell. Follicles could be found.
20 June Several displaying male BACs. One
was located - on a natural
bird mud - due south! Bacs -
with 2 eggs & absent trees -
only flew up a fluttering wing
flung around in the wind
To the nest as I looked at it -
20 June or where note typed
1 burdii at the nest.
21 June One heard a cussa plat at Shovail (see
Southend).
22 June 3B raised wing to vertical (slight droop at
Tip), coelutail (at least partly) & gave even
flee - when disturbed by me near
or gauge. One is also done when
another BS U nearby & may incipient
precopulatory display.
