13 June Barrow - Shovailk, Alaska
Intervals. Others were heard further
South (see census sheets). - 3 eggs, i went in
nearest nuts - 0800.
15 June Barrow, Alaska.
A ♀ seen feeding - ♂ walked up behind - raised vertical
1 wing to side, cocked tail slightly + walked behind ♀.
No voice could be heard. - Ended in ♀ walking away;
♂ feeding. There were 4 eggs i went
near nuts, NE f ATOS.
17 June Bairdi were active at The Beaver
bridge - all morning and afternoon.
Display (aerial), t-chase were most
common. Returning to the field - not
noticeable - apparent species specific.
20 June Several displaying between Brothers & Utha's Area,
Now seen at Shovailk
24 June Nest at Wood, N. of ATOS - complete
MISSING with no trace - predator - (man?)
26 June Nest found just So.1 The Curve on M.
B.R. (beyond 1st ditch) - with 2 eggs -
only 1 bivalve was present.
4 July 1 pr 1 excited lines seen near Petroplum
or Pitelka's plot. A nest found East
