Turn 90° or so & settle back again with
more sorging. In 10 minutes, he made 2-2½
complete circles with 4-5 periods of settling
in 1 revolution. Also, the feet were used
in that they were stamped heavily to root the
vegetation & sod if they were also used to
provide a firm for showing the breast into a
cavity. They could be seen from my weapon
grub well. The bird's constant help.
The bird squints settle into the depression.
After this bird followed, the bird stood by in the cup
& began to peck at the vegetation nearby, both
death debris & dead "attacked" growth
sedge were picked & thrown over the bird's
shoulder (rt & left) into the cavity. After 10-15
pecks - he would again slowly settle. This
was repeated seventeen times where grain
was actually seen in his beak & when
he forced out to the side & out the cup.
Once, he stepped out of the cup, picked up a
grain, threw it back into the cup &
stepped back in & continued pecking.
