nest areas. It was not seen anywhere
or communicate with the female.
28 June. Barrow, Alaska
Two birds seen, both displaying
aerially, near to pipeline or gasoline
ridge. One bird was heard several
times and was on the south side
1 Bundy. The second bird was
only seen once and it was on
the north side.
2 July. Barrow, Alaska
NO activity seen or heard around
The nest. Also the birds on gas
line ridge have not been here
since 25 June.
4 July. Barrow, Alaska
The nest was checked at 1330,
At this time, the nest covered
be found, and there was no sign
of the parent bird. The depression
was located, but no sign of
the eggs was detected. Apparent
some predator (raptor?) may
have taken toll in the nest.
