Holmes, R. 1960 Erolia bairdi 21. 18 July Barrow, Alaska The nest at the north slope? The Bent Ridge was hatching this morning. Three (The young was damaged. No others were seen today, except 1 bird west 1 HATS. Both birds were present at the hatching nest & both were doing a disturbed display. 19 July - A brood was encountered north of Wth's Area among an area 1 pavd's low ante polygons. There were at least 2 cheeke, which were recently hatched (with wola) + both adults were present. During the time I was there, another adult showed up + all three were scolding. One of the birds was doing a strong disturbed display by fluffing over the ground, other bouncing along. 21 July Skroavik, Alaska The nest west 1 The Wamija had 3 eggs, each what had a smudged crack in it. One egg was broken open. The embryo was well developed. The adults were not present; and the eggs were cold.
