18 July Barrow, Alaska
The nest at the north slope? The
Bent Ridge was hatching this
morning. Three (The young was
damaged. No others were seen
today, except 1 bird west 1
HATS. Both birds were present at
the hatching nest & both were doing a disturbed display.
19 July - A brood was encountered north of
Wth's Area among an area 1
pavd's low ante polygons. There were
at least 2 cheeke, which were
recently hatched (with wola) +
both adults were present. During
the time I was there, another
adult showed up + all three
were scolding. One of the birds
was doing a strong disturbed
display by fluffing over the ground,
other bouncing along.
21 July Skroavik, Alaska
The nest west 1 The Wamija had 3 eggs,
each what had a smudged crack
in it. One egg was broken open.
The embryo was well developed.
The adults were not present;
and the eggs were cold.
