Holmes,R. 1960 Erolia bairdi 10. 24 June Skroavik, Alaska grosses that the nest has been laid. The 8 or at least a displaying bird has not been seen in this area. The nest still contains three eggs at 1930. 25 June Skroavik, Alaska The nest contained 4 eggs. A second bird was seen west of the wanigan, but I'm not sure whether this bird is the mate of the one with the nest. 26 June Barrow, Alaska Two nests were located around ATACs. One near the frost pile (see page a next page) contained 4 eggs; one on the south side of the building near the pool + antenna poles. contained three eggs. A third nest far toward the magnetic pole has 4 eggs. Nest #1 which is located near the trash pile at ATACs contains 4 eggs which are blotched more heavily at the large end with purple or brown. The nest is on a slight mound in an area that has my low polygons with shallow troughs. There is a depression among the mosses, where a foot, 10-15 cm of green have been walked down.
