Nest checks: 2 - 4 many feeding - came in as 2 appr.
3,5,7,12,13 - 9 am
4,8 - 9.30 am, app. warm
Only display heard at broad weed ridge where
4 birds were chasing harassing 14-fm nest
#12 (see below) - Usually not would less
unusual. Belief # - Bejot give ground
display - Non others would land to canon
in a short flight - Nest # would stop display,
all would take flight - with me or
it appeared, in pursuit / Nests. This
apparently was a flock 10-8 - Several
minutes later, a single bird was seen
feeding in the slope near the nest (when Nest #
was sitting) + during nesting - 2 birds to
the display present by ~ 2 mins, the
display settling his wings / singing.
He came back + fed 100' up the slope - paying
no attention to any lure feeder. When the
latter was collected, Nest # gave a
ground display & it soon when he was
collected. The lone bird was a
Nest #12 - found by MacLean - 4 spp. Fine.
On mud slope 1 BR - east 1 mentioned -
relative beam slope, side bolder + more,
scarabed grass, somewhat dry, not ~80% exposed.
