( #9+10 sound quite n - coll. by FAP) Nest #11 - 50 y do east / gasoline - at NWS edge of polysynid area - found yesterday by Maclean. - located - large low polysyn- covered by scatland grumroots (202) - fleab- moss. - 4 egg, 9 incubating. #5,11,12,13 & present + shown in display, especially the last 3. A bird was seen to collide may have been a f. Display except for the male perennium has declined sharply. Yesterday, two appear to be a unmated f in the area which were receiving considerable attention for 2 x 388? She was not seen today but may have been present. 25 June Shrink: 18? displayed briefly ne 25.1 - collided. Four other seen chosen ne 15.0 - No other seen or heard again Shrinkil. Probably redwicks has declined here, as it has a low level ridge. 26 June Nest check: #1, 3, 4, 8 - on nest; #5 off + not seen. #6? 1,2,3,4,10, 6 = not seen. H's 5,11,12,13 present last announcement-type display very infrequent & nearly all song heard was delivered during chases.
