17 June Two male nests - both white-rump
cut of beach ridge - Nest #3 - 4 ypp - north slope
ridge - 200yd south platform (pines) - moist lichen
covered ridge - not - left of Arctostaphylos -
90% Lyrebird - in territory.
Nest #4 - a south slope - 100' above
CM - 30' above well travelled road - nest -
live between ARCS + scatter edge / "Nicolas lake.
(interimby 5). - 4 ypp - P displayed to
a curving P - cantilevering.
One displayed to by a buff-breast (way
out round posture with tic note). - P#1 is
present + displays - no green . P#2 was
& (grond country) - weasel trail.
In steep climb to avoid low parts -
white-rump is very conspicuous laterally
- air to all sides. So not only in climb
species-specific - but the white rump is
clearly visible when the bird is in a
perpendicular ascending position.
Breathorn - a 4 week male #2 + one
nest #10 - no broody tendencies noted.
#3 seen but P not found. P#8 seen in
display.

-Throat has different quality fat (i.e more lardaceous)
