RTH 1964 C. fuscicollis 20. 14 June Barrow, Alaska run - after song about 40'- he stopped- stood up & ran again & took flight. Whit - not the bird we're concerned about - next is great-wood - in a nut (we found) but behavior suggested a nest-leaving pasture. Another located to down hill, have display at same level ridge (or man's side). Little activity near bands or there to be next. Wong-flush (1sec) to 8'PS in bottom display WR-#1 - 8'(at least two displays) near nest #1 - Wren seen in two nest cup displays, I within 25yd / Nest #1 (but probably not within sight 10' & on a nest). In fruit display - 8' gave a low intensity display - by just getting into cup- sitting, tail high - for 5 sec - then stepping out & moving off to aerial display. After about 3 aerial glide displays & the intervening feeding periods - he went into the cup near Nest #1. First Sat with tail high (wings folded & layered at a slant) (tail so that white pump shows over 8'PS' head from frontal view). He then stood, scraped and looked feet, feet are then the other. He then stepped out of the cup - stood beside it & began to grass - mowing. In this
