Left MVZ at 11:45am to go out to Russell with

Arrived at Russell at 12:15 pm and stopped to
talk to Al & Mollie. Bonnie dropped me off
above the observatory, set 1-20 in chaparral
(chamise + a mint) and 21-40 higher up along
edge of chaparral (some live oaks + buckthorn
along edge), set 41-60 in live oaks N. of observatory

oak-bay woodland (+poison oak) on N facing
slope N of observatory, set 81-100 in grass
above weather station, set 101-120 in grass+
scattered oaks S of water tank. Walked back
down and set 40-80 nonfolding shearmans
at end of road near garbage dump. Picked up
Bonnie at 3:15 and got back to campus in
time for seminar.
Nov. 15 Bonnie picked me up at 7:45 am. I dropped her
in the field and got to the Observatory at
8:45am. Cool, windy, no rain yet.
Checked traps in chaparral.
