Set 41-60 and 61-80 along the edge of the chaparral east of the observatory where the road ends in a loop, set 81-100 at bottom of chaparral patch [81-90 along edge of chaparral, 91-100 under Calif. bay trees along side road into small canyon at base of hill], Finished setting traps at 7:00 pm. Mileage 280.92. July 30 Got a ride out to Russell with Bonnie Bowen. Arrived at 9:00 am. Still fairly cool there.
