Perry Pines, B1.Smi's @Saylor Creek field sta. North Co. Cal
saw ~3 pairs 12 juveniles were seen following
adults. I recognized the juveniles by the small
green check patch on a predominately yellow
cheek. All individuals had white bellies,
2 white wing bars on blue-gray mantle &
some flew had black throats (a ♂).
They did not call & only heard sipping sounds.
Heads are predominately yellow.
