He is JIS 150 16 July collected OE/FW BK/2 JIS151 2031-08951A Fledgling of GE/FW but rec'd by OE/FW. 18 July Sagehen Creek Field Sta. 3mi NW Hobart Hills Nevada Co, Calif 6300ft Nest check at FW/OR 3 abandoned eggs; no singing heard M call infrequently did not see F. The Teepee had not been tampered with. Nest check at FW/OR's coffee can only had empty nest. No sign of F or young may have heard M once or twice. Nest check at BK/BK flushed 4 eggs, heard M sing. Next check at FW/OR's heard M sing, no sign of F. 19 July Egg switch between FW/OR w/BK M and FW/BK OR/RO both Fs unmated. Put nests in coffee cans with initially no mesh. This is FW/OR's 3rd nest and at least 2nd for FW/BK.
