18 1934 Journal 84 27 April Checked nestling at mulberry bush then were 2 well feathered and one piped egg that looked very old and dry. One of the nestlings pipped out of nest, heard calls to 8 later in the day - by pm. Banded two other nestling 1431-14517 BYPK, tarsus me very fat. Female was also caught 84 fw of hk she looked very striking. I checked nestlings at OF/FW ok found 2 nestlings with partially emerged pin feathers and one warm egg. Did not band. Checked nestlings at FWBL found 4 feathered nestlings with parents in attendance banded 2031-08534, BY/AD, 1431-14518 BY/AD, 1731-14519 BY/AD, 1431-14520 BY/AD Parents chirped as I returned nestlings it took 25-30 minutes to band all 4. 8 April Checked OF/FW's nest on W side of pond 3 warm eggs flushed up and marked. 9 April Banded nestlings at PK/FW in juniper patch E of Mulberry. 1451-14521 PK/PK, 1431-14522 PF/BK total were 10 lbs just fully pipped no feather emergent. Hatchback shed saw down, one egg left, piped at water, but could not put it on it. Found OF/FW or BK's nest in Raddish patch E of Mulberry 4 warm eggs, flagged all by awg
