ith, J 1989 Journal 81 Saxton Creek Field Station (mi W Hobartville), Nevada Co, City 18 April Arrived at th station 4 hours after leaving Oakland. Car behaved ok, I ran th AC to make sure I could start it. Seemed to be fine. Mark Reynolds at "Shorty" are running the station this year. Very nice, they stopped by at dinner we chatted about our research. Shorty has worked on geow in Poppy's at Hartup. She studied in Eugene. Mark worked with Walt at Hartup on Magpie Fly no interested in Mountain Chickadees at Stella's Gap now. Mark mentioned I might think of Senoi as a point field site (contact Kelly (?) Corbett) for more info. at 1:20pm I set out E from the kitchen I crossed to S side of river at foot bridge at E end of meadows. I met Song Sparrows about my boys. I tagged 6 O's I saw 9's but they were quite guilty, I only heard one call. But they were out and visible. Most of the O's were very excited by the tape and would "sip" a lot.
