W Santa Barbara Sate Barabco, California 21 Mar FORNEY CORN Western Gull Horned Lark WATER LIGHT xX-XX x x x Golden Fleas Ruddy Turnstone LOCH 500 yds Pelagic Cormant Colony W -> Oyster Catch Harbor (?) * Seal As we ate lunch on N #t of jitty we saw 1/2 mi. off shore a seal with rear ad foread flying sticky out of the water . There were 3 or 4 other seals with just their noses popy out of the water some were within few inches of this oddly behav ing indiv. The indiv with flypines stick out was ~5' long and once or twice in 25 minutes it rolled over with just its head sticky out but these bouts lasted us ~ more than 30 seconds a piece.
