th, J 1934 Journal 51 Russell Tree Reservation, 2mi N of Lafayette 130ft. , Santa Catalina Caly. 7 Mar Bandled ♂ at wood pile 75 yds north E of mulberry tree he is Fws / white . Female red / pink. would not go in net. Set out feed & saw fom ridiculous jady from SE pile. Also bandled possible pair just north of mulberry patch in dead hemlock. Both came into net right after I had used the tape player - & think canary birds are too lage I will try Zebra finch there both indus were bandled Green : yel Blue at Green or Fws Fws BK BK: ♂ of caught at Pond brush pile in baited trap Fw: ♂ of 4 Mar Very sunny clear ; frost on the ground. Set out baited traps ~6:45 am, I caught 1431-14505 (IB) Fws/red: W/PK at the brush pile at 7:40 with a Golden-crowned jay on the other side. At 8:13am caught 2031-8904 B/fws : Rd/gr at Mulberry bush head mat(?) calling [contact cli]ngs while I was banding this indiv. Have sea try to net indiv in Bacharis clump 75 yds SW of mulberry. It is calling but flew one net. Saw a green banded indiv in hemlock patch just N of mulberry ~ 8:30 am, it was calling. 9:46 am bandled * 2031-8905 ♀? red : yl Fws OR She flew off to hemlock patch of GR/FWS and then she landed custom sparrows from the patch sang.
