4/19, 8 1939 Journal 49 Russell Lake Reservation, 2mi NW Lafayette, Centre Co. Call 13805 9am Watch a pair 7:52 on E side of road just where gravel ends there is a brush pile. Saw full call as female came out of pile singing. 7:53 winds have picked up 15-20mph storm is threatening. I hear calls from W lake. Lots of female vocalizations today. Call from 1st feed station by pond. It looked like it had been rate from so too far E side mulching station but not N. female forced male <-- 10ft --> 75 yds NE of bath hut when I'm situated It seems today that I will hear a ♀ at the ♂ and sing in response. From Mulchy I have heard strange to slow calls ad partial "week week WRATH", golden-crones (4) tailed on W edge no response from SS. About 9:17 a large flock White-crones (~10) individuals flew into the brush pile, I haven't heard or seen an ♀ calli saw ♂ perched ♂ dove earlier ♂ perched ⚥ dove in here ⚥ sat 1' apart heard singing then saw turn back ```</s>
