Yesterday, I spoke with May Ann Fox from the animal use comm. She was very nice and just needed some clarification of a few minor points. When I heard that she understood I got very nervous, thought there might be a big "Hoo-Hah" about the application. She said it would be reviewed in March. I heard froz calls from the drainage ditch by the Road and "Dug - RRR..." Very raspy. The Scrub jays are irritating Red-tails. When I first got to the Mabery Bank this morning, I thought I heard a soy sp. call from that crush pile S of the bank. It was singing about a full song but sounded like it could have been a Fox Sparrow, but then I did see the soy sp. in exact same area later clamping.
