uth, J 1939 Journal 45 Geneville, Sonoma Co. Californa 12 Feb We drove W on 116 to Highway 1, drove N on (I) to Fort Ross. A Russian fort the furthest outpost of Russian Empire in N. Amer. They hunted Sea Otters for furs. ~1pm we returned to joiner the done E on 116 to Mante Rio where we went S on Bohemia Hwy. to Occidental ~ Gnile. We ate Lunch at Onion Hotel, very Italian family style. I had Cheke Caciatve $0. Also got bread, antipasto, salad, soup and raviolis! After lunch continued S on Bohemic hwy to Valley Ford freestone Rd then to Hwy (I) south to Sei Franis Drake. Stopped in Fairfax at Julie's apartment. Just before Town limit of San Anselmo. Julie not have continued on San Francis Drake to Hwy 101 S to Golden Gate. Oil light kept coming on when accelerator not put down. Returned to Ches ~6pm. 25 Feb Russell Tree Reservation, Sonoma N.W. Lafayette Center (est.) c/o A. 9:00m Weather was sunny and very warm ~50-55; but in past 1/2 hour it has become quite threatening to the south and is now overcast. The 35 pair near the Molding Bush would not respond to playback of Am'speew. Best in a Bush pile ~75 yds SE (corn th road) there is an individual chugy. I have played playback
