south, j 1938 6 June Journal Quinn Trail south to San Carlos into Ca. Cal. 1 mile S of Bear Creek Ranch there is an entry way of SE side of road w/ it explore. It runs parallel to what I presume is Bear Creek it is just North (50 yds) of the overpass of the creek. Oaks, Bercham are apparent. 10:35 AM Rain has stopped ~ 30 min ago. Sun's giving outy clouds intermittently. I walked S along a dirt road until I came to a fenced in facility (~ 1/2 mile). I went E around it and got to a Elmore Road which leads to a trail 25 ft away(3) from S end of facility which led to R creek. I walked along the creek headland ~ 500 soy spraws. Numerous RS Towhees (~20). There are Willows lining the streambank. it is very hard going because of this Rosebush- like prickly vine which can have 1/2
