July 26 One caught in 20 traps set on light tan windblowable sand mottled over fairly surface of hard cream-colored silt. Terrain flat. Extensive Sand dune areas in vicinity. Vegetation, Sarcobatus & Artemesia. 8 mi. E + 1 mi. N Sunco, 4200 ft., Humboldt Co., Nev. One caught on wide expanse of light gray windblowable sand rolling broadly in dunes up to four feet in height. Occasional hard spots of cream-colored silt exposed. Sarcobatus & Artemesia present. July 29 21 mi. W + 2 mi. N Lovelock, 4000 ft., Pershing Co., Nev. 1 caught in light gray windblowable minature, sand in dunes set as bulky mountain ranges up to 15 feet high and several hundred yards long on level terrain with slight westward drainage - Plants: Sarcobatus & Artemesia.
