2 Neotoma lepida, 2 Perognathus parvus,
1 Eutamias minimus. Left and reset
50 of the traps. Saw American
antelope on plateau south of Valley;
mule deer in quaking aspens below
rim rock. Shot a Callospermophilus among
boulders of rim rock, also 9
Eutamias amoenus. Evening: shot
hoary bat from floor of valley,
(Nycteris cinerea)
July 18 In 50 traps left set caught 6 Peromyscus
maniculatus, 1 Neotoma lepida. Shot
3 sylviaceous sp.
July 19 Moved camp: via Ft. Bidwell, Cedarville,
and Vya. Camped: ½ mi. N Vya, 6000ft.
